While running WOLF, the beacon was off, and I took the opportunity
to put 2 new digital multimeters in the system. One for PA current,
and the other for PA voltage. After turning the beacon back on,
I saw that the old DC mAmp meter I was using was low by 10 mAmps.
so I have been running about 1.346 Watts input. ( I checked the
new meter against my field meter I use for repair work, and both
read the same). So, now with digital accuracy in the metering, I
am generating a true 1 Watt DC input. That's a 1dB reduction
I think, and that reduction was immediately evident on the
grabber. My signal went from visible, to almost un-seeable traces.
Kinda disappointing, but rules are rules.
