 Good day Jay:

Well the ground is still very much saturated, but not
supposed to rain this week, so I expect to see it change
 as things dry out.
 Right now it has settled in at 26.8 V @ .040 A for 1.072 W
The RF current is up to 190 mAmps. It will peg the meter
soon, it only goes to 200 mAmps. I still haven't got to check
the accuracy of the Ammeter yet, ( worked on another project )
 hi !
Present readings indicate antenna resistance to be at
 29.69 Ohms.

Thanks for the tips you have given, and the calculations.

Major projects ahead include; getting the antenna as high
as I can go, which is about 6 more feet. And rewinding the
 coil with larger wire.

Question ::: I'm not using any type of matching transformer,
or tapping the coil for thr PA. When I rewind with #14
wire, do I need to put tap points on the PA side ??
Right now I'm just going straight from the output filter
 into the coil.

 73 to all :::
