[Lowfer] Poor LF propagation lately?

Has anyone noticed the lack of skywave propagation the last week or so? 
Normally beacons MP and EAR are 24/7 copy here, but lately they've 
barely been seen at night but are fine during daylight hours. MP has 
been weak on the W3EEE grabber too. Other beacons that have been 
reliably copied at night like WEB and WMS haven't been seen for some 
time now. NDB activity is down too, yet some pretty distant signals have 
still been received fine (like DF in Newfoundland and NY in British 
Columbia simultaneously on 350 kHz last night around 0700Z). I've only 
been listening since last May so perhaps this is normal behavior as 
winter propagation shifts to summer propagation.
