Hi Clive I would not say that had any special "name" it is generically a
"top-loaded vertical" I tjiink many of the "names" may have derived from the
need for patent protection at the turn of the last century

It is certainly NOT a turnstile (i not y....the y denotes "fashion" the i is
something you climb over) which as someone said is two half-wave dipoles fed
with a 90degrees phase difference.
