Yah, but not me. Darn things overload and can smoke your receiver, you know! :) No, actually, at least for me, it's because I don't want to add another variable to the transmitting setup. Then, too, they are not rotatable, and you can't exactly walk them around your property and search for the location where the signal is best. But, mainly, one doesn't usually need so much signal unless your receiver is a crystal set. It's the S/N that counts and a much smaller loop will work just as well if not better.
