Bill ,

Well the grabulator was down last night , and still appears to be tonight
. Maybe a storm problem in that area too .

We had thunderstorms here last night and the noise level is still too
high tonight , to see if I can hear you . So I haven't been able to keep
track of how your signals are doing .

Has anyone used the Ashlock loops for receiving ? I was wondering what
kind of results they have had .

The reason I ask , is I am considering working on a system to be able to
receive with for " X " number of minutes , and if a signal is heard , then
using the same antenna to transmit with for another " X " number of minutes
, without interference with the receiving station that I am targeting .

Still in the thought process and needs LOTS of further consideration on
my part , of how to determine a number of factors . It would be nice to see
some kind of two way interaction .

I am planning on moving my beacon , about 8 miles west of me , into
Kansas , at the farm , where there are plenty of trees and lots of room . My
younger son is a bow hunter , so he should be able to get me something in
the air . If I tried it myself , I would most likely cause serious bodily
harm to someone , probably me . <grin>
