Andy may be away for the weekend as I haven't heard back yet on the same
inquiry. SNA hasn't been seen here (EN52ta, NE Illinois), but static
crashes have been rather potent the last couple of nights. Last night I
could only just barely notice XR in there on 184.32 kHz using QRSS-30.
I ask again about 3OHH, copied by several listeners Feb. 17. Is it still
on, and if so is the frequency 190.50 or 190.52 kHz? I think the latter,
perhaps just a matter of receiver readout precision. At QRSS-3 speeds
both can display on ARGO simultaneously. But since the consensus was the
frequency is out-of-band I wonder if it has moved. I normally get good
copy (good enough to copy using QRSS-3) of beacons MP and EAR so 3OHH,
which isn't much farther, should be noticeable unless its ERP is
substantially less. But so far 3OHH hasn't been logged.
Brian, KG8CO reported via Herb (the operator of 3OHH) that a beacon
signing BWK was to be on the air. No reports regarding that have
surfaced so I presume weather or Murphy has caused a delay.
