I don't know how many on the list use facebook, but I started a LowFERs group 
out there. Posting on "the wall" in a facebook group seems like a decent way 
to share stuff closer to real-time than e-mail typically is and also provides 
a way to have more casual chit-chat.

Not sure if there's any interest, but thought I'd at least give it a try. The

I'm starting to understand why a greeting from a friend right after I joined 
facebooks said something along the lines of, "Welcome to the world's biggest 
time waster..."

I've had some issues come up and probably won't get my experimental license 
applied for this year. But I do have the Part 15 DIR xmitter ready to go and 
just need to get the antenna up. Been traveling a lot with work so very 
little progress over the last month, but I should be on the air by the end of 
August barring any major developments.
