Ha, I just put down the calculator to check the sum/difs when Warren posted. Nothing stood out.

Brian, I'm fimiliar w/ Argo, not Spectran, however, and Agro features a signal level bar on the R-side of screen. I have mine set for half scale response.

Lacking such on Spectran (?) you may try to divide the input to sound card via a V-res, say 10K, across the audio line. Then set it to half scale and power up the equipment, looking for MP. Further test the display of MP varying the restance and checking for the"double image."

Brian,

    From what you describe it would appear to be overloading the sound
card (too much audio). Try an attenuator to back off the levels.
