[Lowfer] Beacon reception reports

Overnight, beacons TAG (Wolf10 on 185.8 kHz, 0700-0800Z), XR (ARGO 
QRSS60, slow on 184.321.8 kHz, 0900-1000Z), MP (ARGO QRSS30, slow on 
185.301.1 kHz, 1100-1230Z), and CV (ARGO QRSS30, slow on 185.298.3 kHz, 
1100-1230Z) were good copy near Chicago. No sign of UWL at the watering 
hole so I'm wondering if it has a problem. Beacon SJ was monitored on 
186.850 kHz, QRSS10 just prior to looking for TAG but it was just barely 
noticeable.

Also just prior to the Wolf run my soundcard was calibrated using 
Loran-C as described by John, W1TAG at 
http://www.w1tag.com/WOLFSamp.htm. Neil has calibrated his system using 
a neat PCB that divides down a 10 MHz GPS-locked oscillator to 1000 Hz. 
Interestingly, he sees a repeatable tuning error of -0.283 Hz compared 
to the -0.068 Hz I see. Hopefully I'll soon have one of Neil's boards 
running too so I can compare the two calibration techniques. They really 
should be identical so probably I've not done a good job establishing 
the tuning error of my IC-706MkIIG radio.
