Jay thats the record so far. I list my speed as qrss 30 out of habit but
it is closer to qrss 60.
I am using K1EL chip at .02 wpm. Steves newer chips offer .04 wpm. I have
thought of installing
one of the newer chips and shortening to a two letter id . Dex and Roger
have had problem getting
full Id due to the length of my ID with qsb. Dex has pictures of my setup
on http://www.w4dex.com/gallery/WMS
I wonder what you are using for rec and antenna.
>From the reports I have seen propagaion is long. WEB has been down a few
days. I dont see CV and UWL. I am about
254 from CV and about 330 from UWL. My guess is we are too close.
Thanks for spending the time looking for me. Before sundown I'll tweak it
up.

First night camped out on WMS frequency.
A number of 'frags' overnight with improved reception around sunrise.
Switched to QRSS60 just after
this capture but ran out of darkness. Will try for a brighter, cleaner ID
for your scrapbook but the
evidence so far is all but iron clad. I note your frequency to be 2 Hz
below advertised at 187490
and it does wander around maybe 0.2 Hz. Hopefully the 'squirgles' will
remain clear of your
frequency.
Rough calculation is 1234 miles. Nice going!
