Bob have you tried the Kaito on qrss with argo. With 1khz resolution you
 should be able to use argo
to find the signal.
Does it have input for outside antenna or active ant?
I looked it up on the internet looks like a good buy.

the 1103 tunes to 100 K and can be 'tricked" to go lower but  
looses any selectivity and you loose the use of the loop stick antenna  
can copy/7 right now although he is 80 Db over background  
nice little monitor and small to take along
