So if I leave my noise canceler on too long, my radio might explode? :o)

Could this elementary definition give a basic comprehension of the
principle?? " Equal amplitudes, of opposite polarity / phase will cancel
out each other " An experiment; take 2 nine volt batteries and connect them
+ to -, just plug them together.
Measure the voltage on the terminals, and you'll get near Zero depending on
the voltage level of each battery. NOTE !!! DON'T leave them connected for
long, they could explode !!!
On the Noise Canceller; you have a noise on the Main Ant. and the same noise
on a Sensing / Aux. ant. by using the amplification on the sensing ant. once
you get the noise levels equal in amplitude, but opposite in phase, they
will cancel each other out, and " Away goes the noise !! "
This isn't a Quantum Physics description, but I hope it's on track.
