Seems to have excellent sensitivity down on 189 KHz and the frequency
calibration is right on. It will only tune in 10 Hz steps but since the
frequency calibration is good, you can easily find stuff with ARGO. Here's
an ARGO plot of "WM" & "MP" with the receiver set to 185.30 KHz. I bought
the rig to take with me back packing and on motorcycle trips, it looks like
it will also be good to take out to quiet locations to copy LowFers & other
stuff on L.F. It goes down to 100 KHz aand there doesn't seem to be any
filtering in the receiver that cuts down the sensitivity that so many
transceivers have below 160 meters. My Yaesu FT-920 also is excellent on
L.F.

With the FT-897 & the AMRAD E-Field Probe. Things got a bit spotty because
of the front coming through ... lots of static starting up.
