Thanks Andy,
Here is the problem: : every few minutes I hear something in my computer(
something mechanical) that kicks in for about 5 seconds. When it does , I
get a nasty vertical spike on my Spectrum Lab screen .So AFTER I captured
MP I made adjustments ; doctored up if you will, to get rid of the
vertical pulses. S0omeday Ill try and open up my PC and see what is making
that racket.
Im running Lyles downconverter and using the computer as a software
driven receiver. I find it very stable ; moreso than my receiver and
upconverter combo;. I have no drift at all. The only problem is Spectrum Lab
doesnt do WOLF mode.
Thanks
Rick

Rick:
" MP " should always be a good strong signal for you. " CV " and
" XR " will be considerably more difficult to catch. Looking at
your screen resolution; it appears that you may have your contrast
a little too high, and the brightness too low. At the setting I
see in the capture, pretty much all of the background noise is
filtered out in the settings. You might try backing down the
contrast a little, and bringing the brightness level up to allow
a little more stars/snow/fuzz or whatever you like to call it,
show up on the screen. Then a weaker signal will have a better
chance of showing up for you.
