That's cool. I have looked at your website many times over the years.
Good info there. I bought a LF-400B from Les N1LF many years ago.
Remember him? The High Noon Films guy. I haven't used it for a couple
years now. Used to do remote listening on 1750 meters when I ran the WE
beacon on 185.3026kc. Unfortunately about 13 months ago we had some
serious winds come through and took all my 1750 meter antenna's down
which worked so well for many years. I haven't been on the band since
then. Been running 600 meters lately. I do miss the 1750 band though. I
need to install a TX loop for that band as I have too many trees here.
They don't bother a 600m signal but sure eat up a 1750m signal in a
hurry...hi hi...This sure brings up good old memories reading your message.
