Hello Lowfers,

Does anyone here happen to know the impedance of the earpiece
(the listening part) of a standard Western Electric model 500
telephone set?   I used one as a mic element years ago, but
I've misplaced the info I had on it.

I'm wanting to build a "set of cans" for use with a crystal set, and
need something with a higher impedance than the Walkman style
of headphones.  Any help would be appreciated, as I've not had
any success with Google searches.
