I find it is more fun to listen to regular CW by the ear rather than
QRSS and watching a screen. It helps to know what freq a station is on
and park the receiver there while working at the bench listening to the
CW fade in & out. I will leave my beacon running all night & hit the
sack here. Maybe someone will be listening or doing ARGO logging thru
the sunrise period? A few weeks ago I woke up just before sunrise and
setup the portable RX loop & receiver on the dining room table and
listened to distant NDB's while I ate breakfast. Amazing how the
grayline enhances signals. I could hear NDB's from the Canadian border
down into Texas with the little loop antenna on the table right next to
my breakfast plate. That was cool.

Hopefully the XSH license changes will get granted so we can head out to
the county park and setup a portable station. That could be a ton of fun
camping out while running some 600 meter CW at night while sitting in
the tent. hi hi...

GN,
Mike
