When in doubt; " GOOGLE " XGR/2 is Jay - W1VD in 
Burlington, CT. He is 621 airmiles from me and was fairly
strong considering the noise. I failed to mention in the
last post that he was perceptible with 2.4 KHz filters, 
but when I began to tighten it back up, by the time I got
to 40 Hz BW; he was QSO level copy with all the noise gone
of course. An interesting note just to point out; As the
night went on; XSH/6 got so strong that his signal began
pumping the AGC on the TS450S ( can't turn it off ), and 
when that was happening, Jays signal would go up and down
from the de-senseing effect. An inevitable occurence in the
event 600 ever opens as an authorized band. I'm beginning 
to see now just how beneficial a receiving loop could be,
in most situations.
