a few years ago for the Marconi anniversary a Canadian ham
ran a spark rig on 80 meters I copied it here ,, I believe the best
DX was from the mis west area,, ran Less than a 100 watts 
the pictures looks more like 25 but I am not sure
I have a recording of the signal,, just a raspy buzzy noise
