Dex that is definitely me. I looked up the distance on Bali. It shows
663 miles here to Stanfield,NC
I list mine as qrss 30 but actually it is a little bit slower. the ID chip
 is from
k1el, I have 0.2 and 0.02 wpm programmed into mine, which is closer to
 qrss 60.
Several have had trouble getting a full id because of fading. I wonder if
 I should
change to a two letter ID or speed up the ID to give the listener a
 abetter chance
for capture.?
Sorry about the drift. Originally the tx was solar powered so I tried to
 keep current
drain down. I switched to a recharging cable burried 180 ft out to the tx
 from my work
shop so I should provide some heat control to the osc. I have a NORCAL
 fcc-1 and dds
gen which I am considering building a new transmitter around. Or building
 a tx that is split
with osc, keyer and power supply inside with the signal and B+ duplexed
 out the cable.
Tx is Lyle Kohlers design powered by a "hillbilly defibrilator"(jump
 starter package). Wall wart
recharger is inside workshop and is fed to the tx battery by rg59 cable
 coax. Lost power
this summer when a mole chewed the cable.
Thanks for looking . The season is early yet.

Paul,

I ran overnight on your frequency. A few hours after dark a trace
started showing up on 187492Hz. The signal was detectable most of the
night and faded out after sunrise. The trace had moved down about 1 Hz
by the time I lost it. I never got a positive ID. Here's a link to one
capture when the signal was at it's best:
