Is it me or are these Winters coming around a little faster than when I
was younger.

Interestingly enough I found my mice nest closest to the 7.5nF G3
Sangamo cap in the loop tuner - the cap with the highest RF heating
"loss" and highest avg temp of the other cap sharing the loop current.
They aren't stupid are they, though one poor fellow decided to play with
a couple Kv and paid the price.

"Actually, that may not be entirely true, as the slightly warm chassis 
down in the cellar may be an attraction for the inevitable mice this 
winter. Do you suppose they'd be nervous if they realized they were 
curling up on a Wolf?
