[Lowfer] Help - Tool Advice?

Those things are a real pain in the tuchis!

Some people have gotten a piece of copper or steel pipe that has about the 
same diameter as the nut and filed areas of the end down so it had four 
prongs which fit into the notches.

I used a pair of needle-nosed pliers that I could get around into two of 
the notches.  I marred the face plate somewhat doing it.

I understand the tool which you mention as obsolete was quite expensive.
