Great news Steve!!! Are you noticing the broadcast band still open this 
morning? I am hearing that Canadian station on 540kc bouncing up & down 
but been solid since 9am local and it's nearly 10am local time now.

I got audible reports from all over last night and a neat recording from 
Andy in Tennessee. Building a RF ammeter here today then going to put up 
a 70' hat on the antenna to see the difference in antenna current. That 
would make it a 40' vertical with a 70' flattop. Might make a difference 
over the single 30' L hat now.

If the good conditions hold up or my antenna gets better, I might be 
able to drop the power to 3w output to make it more challenging...hi hi...
