Hello Everyone: I've been trying for days to catch Mike's XSH/16 signal, and finally caught him while he was beaconing on 10/20/08 around 11:30pm EDST ( 03:30 UTC ). Heavy QSB, and after many fades I was able to copy an entire ID. I watched his signal on Spectrum Lab and could see it as it began to brighten the line, then he was audible awhile. I believe I could copy him anytime in QRSS mode. The accomplishment??; 717 airmiles distance, and Mike's running 70 watts into a 70 foot loaded antenna, Good haul OM !! 73.
