Hi Steve,

That's the difference in power level. Big power verses 70w output...hi 
hi...I'll keep making improvements in the antenna here and see how that 
goes before putting a tube amp inline. The band might come back later on 
so I will leave the beacon running well into the daylight hours when I 
wake up. If your up around 1am Pacific time, that is usually when I see 
the band improving on this end. Thanks for listening. I got a neat audio 
recording from Texas earlier tonight. That was dang cool to hear. The 
WEOH sounds cool at the speed I am sending it. I got that idea from 
Jay's XGR/2 beaconing. His beacon sounds cool at the rate he sends the 
code at. PP on 514kc has a nice rhythm to it too. hi hi...
