Located 35 some miles north of Minneapolis MN, about 70w output into a
70' L vertical (40' vertical 30' horizontal) over a bunch of radials.
Kenwood TS-930 into a homebrew transverter. 3w driver amp into a
modified CB radio transistor amp. Homebrew lowpass filter.
Been working FB for quite some time now. Needs some more ground
improvements but it gets out as is. The signal goes out 250 miles from
here in daylight with audible CW. Nighttime coverage is 1000 miles plus,
with audible CW. I turn it on as I feel like it or anyone asking, I'll
turn it on day or night. I am usually home.
