The global mean temp is around 57F for 1900-2000, with an increase of
1F between 1980-2000.
Global mean is of course oversimplifying to a great extent since the
warming in the arctic regions is about 2F over the 1980-2000 period,
enough to melt glaciers and change circulation patterns.

Back to the subject at hand - no response from the ARRL, I guess they
are hoping that there are so few people interested in LF that most
haven't noticed their gaffe!
