I called the contact person at the bottom of the page Mary Hobart to
inform her that the 2200 m band was in fact denied to
U.S. amateurs. She said the info came directly from Dave Sumner, I
told her that he must be seriously out of touch - she laughed
as if I was the one out of touch! She seemed to be saying that Sumner
was on the inside track and went to all the world radio conferences
etc.
She did say she would check. I did an e-mail her an article from the
ARRL web site about the band being denied.
