Hi Paul, All,
In addition to Paul's info, there's also the Zetec comp pair that runs at a lower duty service in a bigger form factor.
That mentioned by Paul can be considered standard for Part-15 usage. Many apps. out there I expect.

I think what he is refering to is the 2n2222/2n2907 complementary pair.
