Hello Bill,

Reception last night was better than usual, Could of been propagation 
conditions
or the RF power was bumped up.

Looks like the PEX could do a better insulation job than free air, but 
it will weigh some.
I am not sure of the RF lossiness of the PEX. Or how it would detune the 
loop.
May be hard to insert 200' of copper tubing into it. Try lubrication. Or 
pull it thru.

May be easier to clear out any offending branches within 10' and only 
insulate the lower parts.
Or Just elevate the lower parts way above any moose/people contact.

The quite visible PEX may be a target for curious humans.
The tarnished copper tubing, by itself, is decently camouflaged for 
security.
