Tuesday night .... WOLF would lock up for one or two decoding periods and then print garbage. If I restarted it, it would do the same thing again. The signal was very strong but I was having lots of static crashes because of the weather. I was using my SDR-IQ. I put in all the attenuation that I had and one time it locked up for three decoding periods, but that was my best for the evening. Usually it copies very reliably. My f: was always less then .150. Was there some unusual conditions last night or was it just the static? I didn't know what the heck was going on.

Just occasional locks here - no decode over the period.
I heard Japenese MW stations this morning for the first time so things are presently getting better, from what is a very poor state at this geo/mag latitude. Good strong sigs from JJY on 40/60 kHz and nearly nothing from wwvb
The SDR IQ/eprobe doesn't like the local Broadcast MW stations much even with a 7 ele 500 LPF, and I have a couple of products appearing which I don't like.. I'm going to have to make the filtering tighter hf of 500.
Loads of 50/100 Kw stations in the high 500 and 800 Khz range here.
Thanks for the sigs John.
Tonight will be my last night here operating from Alaska.
