Thanks Andy - visually the 1Khz tone of WWV 60Khz with the rx set
59.0Khz uSB should appear dead in the middle of the spectrum on wolf -
but I think you are ahead of me - good luck. I also set the number of
cycles before restarting down a bit - think its 20 x 96 secs at the
moment but could be doing with smaller perhaps.

73 from a stormy drive - No chance of hearing anything at all on LF/MF
this evening as I cant hear myself in the car what with all the
lightning and rain....

Hello Laurence: My rig is usually " DEAD ON " as far as frequency is
concerned. I keep it
calibrated with WWV, and WWVB, but I have found that every program
requires some type of
soundcard calibration. I use ARGO , Spectran , Spectrum Lab , and now
trying WOLF. Each one of
them seems to have a different calibration with my soundcard. ARGO is
the closest with only a few
tenths of a cycle difference. I haven't tried calibrating WOLF yet,
probably the next logical
step.
Only had the pgm installed since Sun. afternoon, so lots to learn about
it, especially all the
numbers and their meanings.
Thanks for your reply; have a great day !! 73: Andy - KU4XR
