Andy,

You can do it that way, but it's a major pain to use the original WOLF 
program with the command line interface and recording. DL4YHF's WOLF GUI 
is the best way to go. You can download it at:

Download it and see what happens. I'll run WOLF at the standard 10 
bits/sec on 508.500 kHz from 2300 UTC until 0100 UTC, and then will 
probably switch up to 510 kHz USB for a QSO.
