[Lowfer] SAQ Transmissions Sunday 06-29-08

Hi All,
I had a little better  luck hearing SAQ second transmission between 
1230-1305UTC Sunday but copy still  very rough here. The signal just wasn't strong 
enough to get over the static  noise. Signal level seemed good but static running 
+20+S30 over S-9.
 
U.S. Lightning Map showed several large patches of thunderstorms in the  
Atlantic all around the coast of South Carolina at 1315 UTC Sunday morning so  
that must be where most of the static was coming from.
 
Perhaps will have better luck this coming December 2008 for their next  
transmission when conditions should be much better for VLF.
