Yes but luckily they are located at an elevation that is safe from flood waters as is my old neighborhood. Looks like the college I graduated from, University of Iowa, in Iowa city, is now in trouble. There's a dam on the Iowa River north of town that I can remember climbing to the top of many years ago when it was installed. We laughed at the height of it and figured the water would never go over the top.
