[Lowfer] 512.3 activity QSOs

OK Jay,

Didn't know you were running that much power. No wonder Warren's signal was much weaker through all that static. I didn't mention that my antenna current drops about -4 db when the trees are wet from rain. .....Or is that the ground conductivity? Let's not go there again - at least for a while :) So much to prove out at this freq - so little time.

I'll likely be putting out a little CQ or equ attention-getting tapping tonight at 9:00 if the static isn't too bad. Looks like we will be getting the mid-western storms over the WE. Saw the tragic TV pictures of my home town of Cedar Rapids, Ia. Beautiful downtown section - all under water. It's never happened before, at least during my lifetime.
