Greetings,
Starting Wednesday 23 July, 2008. WB2FCN/WD2XSH-22 will be in
MOBILE receive mode while traveling from Grand Island, NY to
Lithonia, GA. Route will take me through Ohio the long way,
then Kentucky, Tennessee, and into the mountains of North
Georgia. Will be there for approx. 5 days. Then back to WNY
by reverse route Starting in Columbia SC, through NC, VA
MD PA and back to NY state. That is a large loop around the
eastern portion of the US.
The system will be the SS NE602 receiver, with the AMRAD probe
Attached to the trailer hitch mount, approximately 12 feet off the highway.
I will have a laptop runnig the ARGO program, and I will have it in
capture mode for the full time that traveling is taking place. I will
keep track of where I am when signals, (IF ANY) are copied my
"Co-Pilot" will be helping with the logging functions.
When stationary the receiver will be the RYCOM R-1307A/GR,
as my Large inverter system generates noise in most of the receivers.
Just a heads up, I will also have email access, and check-in with
a signals heard report when possible.
Jim
