While cannabalizing some power supplies to get the
toroids, I also found a good source for enameled wire.
The transformers !! they're wound with enameled wire,
literally feet upon feet of wire in the larger ones.
If you've got the patience to break into the
transformer, unwrap the taped layers and unwind the
wire: " Thar's copper in them thar transformers "
