[Lowfer] NDB - CLB 216 Bad Hum On Signal

Hi All,
I wonder if anyone has taken a listen to 2KW beacon CLB 216 lately located in 
Carolina Beach, NC? I noticed this morning it sounds pretty ratty, like it is 
running raw AC on the amplifier and modulator. Must be their power supply or 
amplifier is giving them problems. 
 
Not sure if their transmitter is solid state or tube nowadays. I thought I 
read somewhere they were using 4-1000 tubes in the transmitter and modulator. If 
they have a secondary backup transmitter it has not kicked in yet.
 
Just something interesting to hear in the NDB band!
