Hi Fellows,

Andy, glad you're making progress in the snow-slient LF QRSS spectrum. Might have been you that said one of the Part-15 captures was also audible. That was a special thrill for me when some years back LEK in MN began tapping the speaker here. But think of it, a QRS30 transmissing as CW! Mmmm, it doesn't work, and shouldn't. Still, was unusual.

Another treat from those pre Part-5 times were the graphical displays on 185. (Hmm, was that done for the code-challenged?? ) There was Lyle's LEK and Bill's WM/Wm/mW (Gee did I miss the wm variant? could be). They called that Hellschriber (sp?).

So here's a request to all about other U.S./CA LF-185 activity being noticed. The October LowDown mentioned WEB (TX) might be on this season, is it fact? I looked last week and saw nothing. What about IP (LA) ? And RM (MN) ? I think Roger posted here he was preparing to do 189 one more time. May be others too.

Another one for the logs, I copied " EAR " Mon.
12/31/07 around 10pm EST on 188830KHz - QRSS30. The
signal was weak but pretty much solid. The distance is
566 miles. On to the next one !!
