BRAVO on those queries, Andy! Regret that one has to double check from otherwise published listings
(LoqDown) but such the case. It might be that guys that run beacons don't have an interest in receiving
others, hence they don't know the hours others may spend chasing ghost beacons. Many others are into
better public relations and post changes accordingly. <-- Hint.

But later last night I again looked and had a blank Argo screen for 185.3, not even a few noise streeks.
Will check again this evening.

Andy, on your other post's speculatiion on what I may have received last night...no I believe it was TAG
due the the last two chars, the first being uncertain of. Plus I have seen it before and recorded its
Argo location.

Hello LOWfers: Here are a couple of beacons that are
currently off the air. " R " in Cotter, Ar. ( 169.900
KHz ): Rick has transmitter issues at the moment. And;
beacon " WMG " in Pittsburg, Ks. ( 184.325 KHz ) is
off the air, William is devoting his time to another
project currently. I have been in the process of
emailing some of the guys on the list to find out
their status, so as to not waste time and electricity
listening to a dead frequency. These 2 have responded
so far. 73,all - Andy - KU4XR
