All,
Today was the first time I found a chance to work on the outdoor antenna. Sunny, no wind, above freezing,
what more is needed... I removed the "fallen bucket mess" and reattached the former coil.

Turning on the rig late afternoon I found the usual NDBs and saw EAR very bright on Argo. Didn't see usual MP
 on the 185 screen but a few Hertz lower was a broken up signal, Hmm? Later saw a weak looking TAG.
It was gone by 7PM.

So tuning around in AM, I found a very audible BBC at 198, the usual newscast. Music was heard at 178,
noticable a carriers at 171 and 163 (from memory).
