Read the warning on the back of the cheapy bulbs sold in most stores!  They
should NOT be used anywhere near airports\craft, hospitals, cimmunicaitons
sites or area where there is a risk to life.

They're crap and the gov't and manufacturers know it.

I tried some here, chainsaw noise from damned near DC-Daylight.

Add that to their limited life, degrading lumen output, cost nearly as much
as a case of incandescents per bulb and considered toxic waste and can't be
readily disposed of...  I'll stick with incandescents.
