Hello Pete,

As I recall it had a xtal oscillator at 4.000 MHz.    100 KHz at RF  =
4.100 KHz @ IF
IF receiver did all of the LO and unwanted sideband rejection.

I have heard of another configuration that allowed a 3.500 MHz xtal,  so
a RF of 100KHz had an IF of 3.600 MHz
