Hi Kurt, Lowfers,

I'm using RG-6U coax for the feedline. The local cable company
sells it to me for $0.20 per foot. It's very good cable with a self
healing "goo" between the outer jacket and the shield braid that
takes care of any nicks and deters critters from nibbling.
Here's some parameters of the setup:

Measured inductance of 333 foot perimeter loop = 200 uH.

   Xl @ 600 kHz. = 754 ohms
   Xl @ 500 kHz. = 628 ohms
   Xl @ 400 kHz. = 503 ohms
   Xl @ 300 kHz. = 377 ohms
   Xl @ 200 kHz. = 251 ohms

Binocular core matching transformer 2:1 turns ratio

Antenna winding inductance = 1030 uH.

   Xl @ 500 kHz. = 3236 ohms
   Xl @ 400 kHz. = 2588 ohms
   Xl @ 300 kHz. = 1941 ohms

Feeder winding inductance = 230 uH.

   Xl @ 500 kHz. = 722 ohms
   Xl @ 400 kHz. = 578 ohms
   Xl @ 300 kHz. = 433 ohms

I'm pleased with the setup, as it allows me to use the antenna for
more than 500 kHz. listening.
