24Khz NAA is just a couple of dB above noise here in Singapore on a
typical morning, the QRN being the limiting factor. Nothing from SAQ
from here either so far but the ionosphere is just a little hot
Sigs at 14.9, 16.4, 18.1, 18.3, 18.6, 19.8, 20.3 20.9, 21.1, 22,2, 23.4,
24.0 25.0 on the SDR/probe this morning as well as Alphas.
LF long haul not brilliant at the moment but DCF39 138.83 sitting at S7
1 hour before my dawn. Any BCST/Mil LF stations active on the west coast
at the moment chaps?

Steve - as a test how well can you hear NAA on 24.0 kHz?
NAA is running 2MW into a highly efficient top-loaded vertical supported
by 26 1000' towers from Cutler, Maine.
NAA runs 24x7 and should be many many dB louder than SAQ!
A 160 inverted-L is far from an ideal VLF antenna - if you do decide
to use it bypass the matching network that you use on 160.
