Zack,

Happy Holidays! Suggest purchasing a used Icom R-75 (as a late Xmas present to yourself) for Lowfer receiving and then constructing your own transmitter as a much better approach to becoming involved with Lowfering. The frequency stability of a purchased communications receiver, like the R-75 has, is a characteristic needed for receiving QRSS digital mode signals - while transceiver would have unusable drift in rereceiving digital mode signals. The 1 Hz dial resolution is another huge plus for the R-75. Also, SSB transmissions are not really practical at this low power level.

Happy Lowfering!

Bill A

I would also like to see a schematic and/or board pattern for it. I can make boards for my own use for just about anything.

Hi Brian, I saw that radio also awhile back and have been looking for at least a schematic for it with no luck. I am now looking for a qrp rig for 160 meters that could be coverted.73,Mike K1EG

Years ago I saw pictures of the EXP-1750 SSB/CW lowfer transceiver. I realize that the kit isn't in production any longer. Does anyone have a users/builders manual where I can have ic and/or board pattone built from scratch?Thank YouBrian, KG8CO _______________________________________________>From the Lowfer mailing listSend messages to: Lowfer at mailman.qth.netTo sub/unsub visit: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/lowfer _______________________________________________
