[Lowfer] WMS off again tonight 12-16

I have thought about moving but on the watering hole one needs absolute
stability..
Plus there are no cheap xtals for division down to 185.3. If I build a new
tx it will be
synthesized and have an oven for control. My target was 187.5 ( 6mhz
divided down).
I think some others have started on 187.5 according to past listings.
Have you seen the gallery on www.w3eee.com site? he has captures of 11
stations at
once on the watering hole. those were the good old days. Some have shut
down their beacons
on 1750m due to interference with 500khz grabbers and 137khz ops.
If some more move to 187.5 I will trim mine up nearby.
You and Garry and Peter have set a new standard for rec with the great
captures you have made.
Make me want to build some large loops. Congrats!
Another possibility is 185.185 that is an even division from 5mhz.
I will continue to think about moving.

For an ice and snow covered antenna, CV isn't doing too bad at all into
Colorado tonight.

MP isn't as strong as usual, but Mitch is also over 1200 miles away.
You know, with all the empty space at the watering hole, it would be
nice if WMS, EAR, and XR could move to the 185.3 area - it would make it
a lot easier to watch for everyone near one frequency.
