Let me say that after spending almost a year intermingling
with the LOWfer community, That I have found it to be just
as clique-ish as any other; ie: A.M., SSB groups, QRP, etc.
You've got your little groups, and then you have your
outsiders. I'm an outsider, I have quit posting anything,
anywhere, except the simplest of messages. I got tired of 
the snied replies. Everyone is entitled to their opinion,
MINE: !!! on the LWCA site; I cannot even type my email
address in the body of the message, It will kick it because
it has the word Yahoo in it. I'll still use it; but only 
for something relevant to the site, and then carefully
choose my words.  As Warren mentioned; a 10 minute 
composition, only to have it kicked is senseless. I had the
same experience however on Mon. night on the LOWFER FORUM.
It took me around 20 minutes !! using high speed cable net,
just to get a simple message thread posted. This is absolutely
too slow. I'll finish by asking this; How much are you paying
to use the message boards, the forums, the email lists ???
The guys who manage the sites are paying for them out of their
own pockets, and managing them in their spare time.
If you want it done any better / faster - YOU !! pay the money,
and YOU !! manage the site; THEN; do you think it would be any
better than it is now ??
